iDEAlITY - Developing European Awareness Through Youth Information - is a Project aimed to host European volunteers. The issues that it intends to develop are "European awareness" of youth and “information for young people" and it aims to achieve goals such as: to develop the awareness of young people towards issues of citizenship and European integration; to provide young people with opportunities for active participation in the construction of Europe; to overcome prejudices and fears of diversity; to promote and encourage the mobility of youth; to improve the quality of information towards the majority of young people. The activities of volunteers will last 9 months with the involvement of four Countries participating in the Youth in Action programme. It is open to 3 volunteers who will be involved in all activities typical of an information desk such as, back office and front office duties (especially useful to volunteers wanting to improve their knowledge of Italian), organization of events and seminars, work-shops, info days, exchange of good practice etc. The volunteers will also be in touch with other organizations in their countries of origin in order to establish new partnerships. During all the phases of the project, the volunteers will be assisted and trained by a tutor and a supervisor who, along with the volunteer, will fill in the Youthpass. They will attend daily meetings with their mentor who will also monitor the project, assess the performance of the volunteers and support them in situations of need or potential conflicts. There will also be a constant exchange of information between partners via e-mail, phone, Skype, with the aim of discussing together the various phases of the project.

Kinobuss
Environment

EVS project will take place mainly in Tallinn, which is capital city of Estonia and most developed and populated area in the country. About Tallinn you can find out more information from www.tallinn.ee .

Kinobuss works nationally and it means mobility - due to our projects, many activities (workshops, screenings, festivals) take place all over Estonia (in schools, youth centres, culture centres etc).

For the EVS volunteer it means he-she should be open and ready to travel around the country together with other Kinobuss team members and take part of different events if necessary. It will also give the volunteer an opportunity to meet people from different communities and social background and to learn more about the local culture.

Profile of the Hosting Organisation
Kinobuss (founded in 2001) is a Cinema on Demand, an independent film-organisation. Our main goals:
*to keep the local cinema culture alive in small towns and villages, where cinemas don’t exist or have been closed down; *to promote Estonian and European film production; *to distribute the knowledge of film-making among youth and teachers and show that anyone can make a film.
Our main activities:

*exhibition (travelling cinema) and distribution; *developing film and media education on basic and free education level; *providing film and animation workshops / trainings for youth and teachers, as well being experts on international level.
